Family Membership

First Entertainment's Family Membership privilege entitles all relatives of members to join, with access to all services, including loans.

Family members don’t have to work in the entertainment industry. According to credit union bylaws, a family member "includes any relative by blood or marriage, or foster and adopted children, or domestic partners, of a primary credit union member. Domestic partners are defined as those partners who reside together for six months and state that they are financially interdependent."

Any individual who joins the credit union as a family member is entitled to the same membership benefits available to the primary member. A family member joins the same way as a primary member, with a minimum opening deposit of $5 and a one-time membership fee of $5. An account is opened in the family member's name and there is no account relationship to the primary member. Family members cannot sponsor other family members.
